MOTHERING SUNDAY DOUBLE TREAT FOR KENT SPEEDWAY FANS!
Monday 09 March 2020
It’s a Mothering Sunday treat for Kent Speedway supporters later this month – with a day out opportunity to see the two teams representing the Central Park-based club in track action and can then get close up and personal at a special Greyhounds Night at the stadium.
High Noon on Sunday 22nd. March sees the TouchTec Kings and Iwade Garages Royals (who are competing respectively in British Speedway’s Championship and National Leagues) limbering up for the challenges ahead in an afternoon-long practice session at the Old Gun Site home of the Iwade Training track, Swale’s other Speedway venue, After the rigours honing bodies and machinery into shape, the riders will deserve a night out and they get one with the staging of the annual Speedway-themed Big Night Out Greyhound Racing event at Central Park Stadium – with the four-legged racing getting underway at 6pm (first race 18.09). The races will have Speedway themes and the Kings and Royal riders will be involved in presenting the prizes. Speedway fans can mingle with their heroes in this brilliant night out – a special treat for Mother’s Day!
There are tickets priced at £5.00 for the first 50 Kent Kings'fans to join the official Speedway party on the night - these will need to be booked in advance by contacting the Stadium during office hours.
